Sky-high taxation results in massive evasion
It's physically impossible for a company to pay all the taxes they are asked to pay. That's why so many companies evade taxes, or are in the informal sector. If I'm an honest business person, I couldn't simply run my business paying all taxes. [Herald.com]
Duh! These punks are getting pretty bold these days don't you think?
Why gold could hit $1,000 an ounce
In the commodities rally of the early 2000s gold has been largely left out. But a recent study from ABN Amro has pointed out that for gold to catch up with its former relationship with the oil price then the yellow metal would be more than $1,000 an ounce. [http://www.ameinfo.com/67843.html]
Why is the price of gold so low?
My family sets the price of gold at our bank twice daily for the London comdex. The plans are to keep the price of gold pretty steady, while also slightly increasing in a steady manner. They don't want gold to go through the roof, for many various reasons, but they also don't want it easily accessible and affordable to the general public. If they stick to the plans, gold will cap off somewhere around $400 an ounce, like usual, give or take a few dollars. Well, that is until they make gold and precious metals entirely inaccessible to the general public as a whole, but by then the monetary system should be consolidated and on it's way to an electronic system of currency, with precious metals completely illegal to own by all but certain people and families.

Silver is a better investment, nudge nuge, wink wink.
The few who understand the system, will either be so interested in its profits, or so dependent on its favors that there will be no opposition from that class, while on the other hand, the great body of people, mentally incapable of comprehending the tremendous advantages...will bear its burden without complaint, and perhaps without suspecting that the system is inimical to their best interests.

You're not still holding on to that 401k are you?
Sarah, if the people had ever known the truth about what we Bushes have done to this nation, we would be chased down in the streets and lynched.

Hey GHW, BC, and AG, don't sweat it! The sheeple are still sound asleep!
If the primates that we came from had known that someday politicians would come out of the gene pool, they would have stayed up in the trees and written evolution off as a bad idea.

Ok, the last two quotes are a hoax, just like oil is a “fossil” fuel.
